Internet Doyenne, Computational Artist, Self-Proclaimed DJ
Shira Feldman is the Innovation Fellow at the Office of Innovation, where she helps to support and grow many of the projects she benefitted from as a young Jew on campus, in particular, the Jewish Learning Fellowship.
Shira recently graduated from NYU with a concentration in New Media Art, studying at the intersection of technology, creativity, and critical theory. She also works downtown as a video art curator in a Lower East Side gallery and salon, and as a Research Assistant to a Professor on an upcoming book on art criticism, photo theory, and psychoanalysis.
Shira grew up in Connecticut with her mother and sister, in a family of strong-minded, menschy women. She’s deeply invested in collaboratively and generatively exploring the nuances of Judaism as they manifest in practice, ritual, and community.
