Rebecca Blady is the Fellowship Coordinator for OOI's Fellowship for Rabbinic Entrepreneurs. Together with her husband, Rebecca co-founded Base Berlin, a home-based, pluralistic Jewish community for young Jews in Berlin, Germany. She has also served as Rabbinic Intern at the Prospect Heights Shul and as a Fellow at ImmerseNYC and a member of the Alpha Cohort of the Fellowship for Rabbinic Entrepreneurs. Rebecca teaches and writes on topics related to Jewish identity, spiritual health and women's empowerment. She is a certified yoga teacher and ImmerseNYC Mikvah Guide.
Rebecca holds a BA cum laude from Brandeis University and comes to the rabbinate with a background in media production and engaging youth at risk. Rebecca lives in Brooklyn with her husband Jeremy Borovitz, a rabbinical student at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. She holds a B.A. cum laude from Brandeis University. A proud granddaughter of four lively and loving Holocaust survivors, Rebecca advocates for a united global Jewish narrative and every individual Jewish story.
