Faith Brigham Leener

Prior to her work with Hillel, Faith was a New York City Urban Fellow where she worked as a policy analyst at the NYPD’s Counterterrorism Bureau. In college Faith was a co-founder of the Green Opportunity Action Leadership Network, a nonprofit that enabled high-risk Boston youth to work in the green sector. She has also worked as a consultant, researcher, and facilitator.


Faith grew up in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of two physicians and social welfare advocates. Faith is currently involved in Immerse NYC, a collaborative Mikvah project, and is on the Board of Directors of Amir, a non-profit that works to advance social, environmental, and economic sustainability.


Faith holds a BA Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University, an MPA in Public Policy & Non-Profit Management from NYU Wagner and a MA in Judaic Studies from NYU Skirball. She is currently pursuing a concentration in Israel Education with the iCenter. She met her husband Jon Leener at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.
